Cargo Container Booking: FCL Solutions from China to Kenya

Secure Your Full Container (20ft & 40ft) with Guaranteed Space and Fixed Rates

When your cargo volume exceeds 15 CBM, booking a Full Container Load (FCL) is the most cost-effective and secure way to ship. At Moks, we specialize in direct container booking from all major Chinese ports, ensuring your goods are sealed at the factory and stay untouched until they reach your warehouse in Kenya.

Whether you are importing machinery, textiles, or construction materials, we provide the equipment you need, when you need it.

Why Book Your FCL with Moks?

Booking a container is more than just renting a box; it’s about managing the supply chain.

  • Direct Carrier Contracts: We have “Direct Booking” status with major lines like Maersk, MSC, and COSCO, giving you priority during peak seasons (like the pre-Lunar New Year rush).

  • Port-to-Door Transparency: We manage the entire flow from Ningbo, Shanghai, or Shenzhen to the Port of Mombasa, and onward via the SGR (Standard Gauge Railway) to Nairobi or Naivasha.

  • Container Loading Supervision: Our China team can be on-site at the factory to witness the “stuffing” (loading) of your container, ensuring every inch of space is used and goods are secured for the ocean voyage.

The FCL Booking Process to Kenya

  1. Request a Quote: Provide your cargo details and pick-up location in China.

  2. Container Drop-off: We send the empty container to your supplier’s factory for loading.

  3. Export Documentation: We handle the China customs export license and filing.

  4. KEBS/PVoC Inspection: We coordinate the mandatory Certificate of Conformity (CoC) inspection in China before the container is sealed.

  5. Ocean Transit: Your container is loaded onto a vessel with a transit time of 25 to 45 days to Mombasa.

  6. KRA Clearance & SGR: Upon arrival, we clear the container with KRA and facilitate transport to your final destination.
